Relevance in the Mathematics Classroom
Schools are thinking differently about how to partner with business and labor leaders to bring relevance to education by demonstrating authentic applications of academics found in the work place. Hands-on demonstrations provided by business/labor leaders re-engaged students in learning and deepened their understanding of the importance of their studies. Participants will leave with an understanding of how these strategies can be implemented in schools and what is meant by “real-world relevance.”
